Noel Martinez

After searching for a local church, the Lord led Noel and his family to Newtown Bible Church in the fall of 2017.  Since becoming a member, Noel served in the Children’s Ministry and on the Communications Team where he was part of the “soundboard” functions and responsibilities.  In October of 2020 Noel was invited to serve as Deacon/Treasurer.  Noel’s wife Coreen, serves as a Nursery Teacher and helper in the Children’s Ministry whenever she is needed. Jonathan St. Jacques

Jon was invited to serve in the role of Deacon of music at Newtown Bible Church in October,  2020. He oversees and organizes most of the areas related to music including congregational singing, special music, and children's choir. He has been a member of Newtown Bible Church since 2012 and got involved with music ministry at nearly the same time.

Jon expresses his heart’s desire in this way. "The purpose of music at NBC is to put the glory and beauty of God on display, aiding the expression of delight and praise in the hearts of God’s people, building up and encouraging the saints in truth, renewing their minds, and witnessing to the world––in the power of the Spirit––the worthiness of God and all that He is for us in Christ."

Jon’s wife Heidi, plays a very special and important role in the music ministry alongside Jon.  Jon and Heidi have been blessed with five precious children and live in New Milford, CT.

Conrad 2.jpg

Conrad Vargas

Conrad is originally from the Bronx, NY.  He arrived at Newtown Bible Church in 2011 after relocating with his family from Puerto Rico in 2010 where he lived most of his adult life.  He is married and has three beautiful children.  Two girls and 1 boy.  Puerto Rico is where he met his wife and where his daughters were born.

Puerto Rico is where he was saved, in 2003 in a charismatic church.  The spirit of God eventually led him out of that church and its false doctrine.

Conrad leads the Teen Youth Group, “Firmly Planted” at NBC.

Conrad also translates all of the pastor's sermons as well as Baptism Testimonials into Spanish, live, during the service.  This ministry was in response to a need for our Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters.

Early in 2022, Conrad was invited to serve as Deacon.

He expresses the following:

“This is what I love the most and seek to serve with all my heart.”

“For I have no confidence in my capabilities or in the flesh.  I solely rely on Christ”
