Joey accepted the call to serve as pastor-teacher of Newtown Bible Church in August 2008. He received both his B.A from Master's College and M.Div. from The Master's Seminary in 2008 and his Ph.D. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Joey began attending Grace Community Church, Sun Valley, CA, in 1996 as a new believer and was a member for 11 years before coming to CT.  At Grace Community Church, he served as a pastoral intern in the Children's Ministry and then as an intern with Development at The Master's Seminary. Joey is married to Trish and they have been blessed with three girls.

Jon was invited to serve in the role of Deacon of music at Newtown Bible Church in October,  2020. He oversees and organizes most of the areas related to music including congregational singing, special music, and children's choir. He has been a member of Newtown Bible Church since 2012 and got involved with music ministry at nearly the same time.   Jon expresses his heart’s desire in this way. "The purpose of music at NBC is to put the glory and beauty of God on display, aiding the expression of delight and praise in the hearts of God’s people, building up and encouraging the saints in truth, renewing their minds, and witnessing to the world––in the power of the Spirit––the worthiness of God and all that He is for us in Christ." ​ Jon’s wife Heidi, plays a very special and important role in the music ministry alongside Jon.  Jon and Heidi have been blessed with five precious children and live in New Milford, CT.

Debra has been a member of Newtown Bible Church since May 2010.  Both she and her husband, George Vidalis, have served in various ministries since first attending NBC. Debra served as a Sunday School teacher from 2012 – 2014.  She has served in NBC’s women’s ministry since 2011 and is involved in the choir.  She teaches Ladies Bible Studies and is active in Ladies' Discipleship.  She also enjoys running the church Book Nook. Debra lives in Milford, CT with her husband George.  They have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. In 2021 she was invited to serve as Deaconess overseeing Ladies Discipleship and Resources. Debra expresses that: “It is a privilege and a joy to serve Christ with my brothers and sisters at NBC."

Mervete is originally from Kosovo and came to the United States in 1999. The Lord regenerated her heart in 2017. After searching for a local Bible-believing church, the Lord led her to Newtown Bible Church in September 2019, and she became a member in 2020. Mervete serves in the children’s ministry as a Sunday School and Children’s Church teacher. She teaches Young Ladies Bible Study and is active in Discipleship. In 2022, she was invited to serve as a Deaconess, and serve in the ministry of the Ladies' Discipleship. Mervete expresses: “I count it all joy and honor to be a vessel in serving the body of Christ at NBC by His enabling. Soli Deo Gloria.”
